On the occasion of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, the Intergroup "Extreme Poverty and Human Rights, Fourth World committee" will hold a public meeting in the European Parliament room JAN 4Q1, on Thursday 17th October 2013 from 15h00 18h00.

This year's event will focus on the theme nominated by the United Nations : Working together towards a world without discrimination: building on the experience and knowledge of people in extreme poverty.
